Welcome Back!

We are approaching the halfway mark of first quarter. We have been very busy.  We reviewed the eight parts of speech, began building vocabulary, and have learned a lot about the creation beleifs of many Native American tribes.  We will soon be starting THE CRUCIBLE.   

This site is meant to be a resource for students and for parents.  You will find lots of helpful information.

ABOUT ME:  This page  just lets you learn a little bit about me and my family.

ENGLISH III:  This page has many sub-tabs.  You will find a copy of the syllabus, a calendar of assignments and activities, a separate resource page for each novel/play, and a general resource page. 

CREATIVE WRITING:  This page is new this year.  It is limited in information right now, but will continue to grow throughout the year.

PARENTS:

*The parent portal of the grade book program is up and running! This is an opportunity for you to check your child’s grade as often as you want.  It also has a lot of other great features that you will enjoy. 

*I will send out e-mail updates and reminders throughout the year.  It might be an e-mail to let you know that grade cards or grade checks went home or an e-mail reminding you of an important date.  There is no need to respond to these e-mails unless you have a question.  It is just an easy way for me to communicate with you and keep you updated.  Please let me know if your e-mail address changes so I can be sure that you are getting the information.
