English III

Hello Juniors!

We are going to be very busy this year.  We are going to read these novels:  The Scarlet Letter, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and Animal Farm.  We will also read one play, The Crucilbe.  Aside from reading, we will have a lot of writing.  This year you will write a personal narrative, a persuasive paper and speech, a research paper, and a college admissions essay, just to name a few.  We will practice and improve your grammar skills, as well as experience American writers from many different time periods.
